Email Protection

Hi,

I have a question regarding the Email Protection subscrption license. how does this exaclty works? I mean is it enough we buy the subscription? or we have to also install the PureMessage for Exchange on our exchange server 
as well?

    Sophos UTM Email Protection subscription is not in any way related with PureMessage for Exchange license.

    If you have paid PureMessage (separately or with Endpoint subscription) I would recommend to install it on your Exchange server for additional protection (for example AV scan of internal mail traffic). 
    In that scenario UTM would be the first line of defense (select single scan engine using Avira), and PureMessage will filter everything that (if) UTM missed.

    If you don't have PureMessage license, use dual AV engine protection in UTM's Email Protection settings.
