Cannot activate SSH shell access

And the slider at the upper right of the page won't let you move it to the right?

Try re-setting the loginuser and root passwords, one at a time.  I've heard some people report issues recently with setting them both at one time.

You can also try updating to current first as well, 9.307.  Could be a fix for what you're seeing.

When I move the slider I get immediately the error message.

I tried setting the passwords, one at time, both at the same time, different passwords, same password, ...

Updating is not possible, because the update process is stuck with wrong update file (u2d-sys-9.211003-304011.tgz.gpg) in the cache dir.

This is why i need shell access to delete it.

Hmm, looks like no update without shell access and no shell access without update :-(
