I am currently running the latest version (9.2 something) of Sophos UTM at home with the home license. I used to be an Astaro reseller and have always loved their product and couldn't let go of it even for my little home network. My son recently got a tablet, so locking things down has been great.
I am currently have an issue where I cannot login to the web interface. When I enter "admin" and my password, I get back "Invalid username or password." I have reset the password via cc/system_password_reset and I continue to have the same problem. Interesting, I can also not login via loginuser with SSH or at the box itself. I am logged in as root at the console right now, but afraid that if I reboot, I will lose that also. I am considering going to last weeks backup, but wanted to know if anyone had anything else I could possibly attempt, or is there a log file that I can look through to find out why the login is being denied. As I said, I have root access to the system via console. I feel I should also note another issue that I have been having, however, it is probably unrelated, but want to throw it out there. I have not been able to look at any logs for a while. When I go to the list, or use a Live Log button, the webpage would just hang and it appeared that a process related to logging was running with some high CPU usage. Again, probably unrelated, but just in case... if I get back in and that issue still persists, I'll reach out to this community on that separately.
