.asp websites blocked intermittently?

So we are having issues where .asp sites - Like: http://www.mysite.com/depts/genserv/purchasing/bids_rfps.asp

Are being blocked - or simply not displaying at all with no error messages?

Have others been seeing this - Is there a good work around to this issue?

It only seems to happen on some sites and not others - Should I assume the gateway is blocking some sites based on bad .asp implementation?

We actually need to view these sites and I need to allow for this so any guidance would be most helpful

    Honest answer - no idea how to deal with Putty or command line items.

    Better honest answer - They really need to fix this bug as its a core function that really needs to be fixed.

    So If a .asp site was timing out - or the gateway put up the error the site timed out - but outside the local network the site was accessible with no issue then my assumption is the gateway is the cause of the issue based on some scan its trying to run on the site and not getting the correct results or outcome.

    Do you think it is the fact its a .asp site that it would be being blocked or hanging or would it more than likely be something the .asp site is using that is causing the issue. 

    I know this is true across most if not all .asp sites we try to access.

    Do you know of a way to exclude specific domains where I can make an exclusion and re-test the site to verify its the gateway that is causing the issue.
