Infinitely repeating OK/Cancel message when trying to enable L2TP - bug or bad config

Hi,

I was just trying to enable remote access via L2TP over IPSec. When I do so I get the message shown in the attachment, and hitting OK just causes the same message to repeat. I'm therefore unable to get into this part of the L2TP VPN configuration to be able to re-enable iOS support, and am in fact unable to enable L2TP at all.

Anyone else seen this? I'm unsure whether this is a bug, or just the result of a corrupt configuration. I expect my config has gathered a lot of cruft over the years.

    Right - I understand, but in this case I couldn't get into the config screens as I got this repeating error any time I tried. What I was going to do was 1) turn on L2TP without iOS support so I could get to the config screens, 2) reconfigure it to use a pre-shared key and 3) re-enable iOS support. I couldn't get past step 1; my config ended up in a state where it wasn't possible to make any L2TP config changes.

    I ended up rebuilding my config from scratch after a factory reset; painful and time-consuming, but at least it allowed me to configure L2TP the way I wanted to afterwards.
