Virus keeps popping up

Hi, 

Kindly see attached screenshot (ohh damn seems like there is no way to attach a file). Well I keep getting the Troj/DocDl-DD and although I keep cleaning it up it is still reappearing. Don't know how to deal with this, its annoying me big time. It says it is in a file called Christmas Offers.doc but can't seem to find the file anywhere. 

Would appreciate any assistance.

    Looks like you have to kill it in the registry as well.  Maybe better to wipe and reimage the infected machine.

    Do a Goggle search on that Virus.  There are websites out there that show you how to clean that particular malware off.  Be careful, some of the websites that show you how to clean also have malware loaded on them.

    I have looked it up but cant seem to come up with any clear step by step options.

    download the 32 or 64 bit version(whichever version your windows is running) and burn that to a dvd or a usb stick(make sure it is at least 4 gigs and blank).

    DO NOT do this from the infected machine

    once the program is complete boot to this dvd or usb stick on the infected machine and select the full system scan.  If it finds anything rmeove it and then boot back into windows.  

    if it doesn't find anything OR the virus comes back your system has patched the kernel and your only hope is to backup,format,reload.

    I would get ubuntu 12.x 64 bit desktop and burn it to a dvd.  Boot to that then ;plug in a usb hdd and grab the data off the hard disk and put it on the external hdd.  eject the external hdd..reboot to a windows instlal dvd...make sure you remove all partitions then reinstall windows from ground zero.

    Get the IP address of the infected machine, wipe, reinstall the OS.  Load anti-virus, update, reload data.  This way, the anti-virus will be update to catch and delete infected files.

    I am using a macbook pro...I have time machine. When all this happened a mass mailing spam email was sent to all my contacts. This was around the 19th of December. Since then I have received many other important files / emails that's the problem. Is it maybe a better idea to just restore the system to a backup before December 19th, when I first realized having problems. If yes the next question would be from which date I should restore?
