Additional L3 internal Interfaces

I would like to add additional L3 interfaces to my firewall. I am using a PC that has two PCI slots and a PCI-e slot. I would like to use the PCI-e slot for a four port gig card. Something like the following.

Dell Intel Pro 1000 VT Quad Port GB NIC 0YT674 PCI E PCI Ethernet Wired | eBay 

Should this work?

    According to my experience:
    1000PT quad works only on x1.0 slots,
    any higher than that boot is hit&miss and board dependand.
    1000VT quad "should" work ok on recent boards.
    "should" =  it usually does, incompatibilities do exist due to mobo manufacturers
    not usually testing server parts with home market boards.
    Google the mobo/nic combination to see if there are problems.
    If it is detected during boot, it will be detected during setup from UTM.
    Keep in mind that normally you have to re-install to detect the new nics.
    Personally I run a quad I-350 based Winyao on a consumer board and works a treat.
