I'm looking for advice on some VOIP issues.
I have two VOIPO adapters and a Asterix PBX behind a Sophos free UTM at home. The Asterix runs like a champ. One VOIPO adapter constantly gets audio issues, dropped calls, etc. The second ATA works most of the time but it can experience issues intermittently. I have set up any rules out and DNAT the SIP ports in. Added exception for the ATA ip's. Both adapters use different SIP ports. They only have one server that you can connect to.
I can find nothing in the logs other then some RTP packets getting bounced in the firewall log. I am going to try the SIP Protocol Support. I have a post in the Network section of this forum asking if this feature is locked to port 5060. Regardless it looks like from my tests it can only work with one SIP server and client. If I add another server and client it only works with the first one.
VOIPO suggested that I put one adapter in a DMZ and the other I forward UDP 5004-6500 from their server. Using the DMZ is going to be a pain if I have to create it.
I was wonder if one ATA can use the SIP Protocol Support and the other use DNAT to forward the proper ports.
Any advice and help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
