Internet Band Width goes down

My client having internet speed 100 Mbps once we enable the web filter its goes down 4 to 5 Mbps. then we disable the web filter internet speed come again 100 Mbps. Sophos support team also trying to fix this for 8 months but no use.

If you have face like this issue please let me know....

For 8th months payment pending from customer.... my management is firing me.....[:S]

    We'd need to know more about your configuration.  I suspect you are running underpowered hardware; the web filter system requires considerable resources to run efficiently.
