[9.303-2][DHCP6]MACS don't get assigned an address

Hi folks,
I have been trying to workout why my MACs all running 10.10.1 don't get an assigned DHCP6 address. Doesn't matter if cable or wifi connected.
If I turn on prefix advertisment they all pickup an IPv6 address.

Using advertisment does not allow you to control what a device does based on IP address. This means you have to go to more sophisticated user management system, which for home users and many small business is not an option.

    You need both, router advertisements (Sophos sadly calls them "prefix advertisements") and a DHCPv6 range. The router advertisement must have the DHCPv6 flag 'managed' being set. This flag is a hint for the client to launch a DHCPv6 client for address configuration.

    Hi,
    and thank you for the explanation. I think that extra field is now on by default, because I hadn't tried this since the first beta release and then the IPv6 address assigned were wayout side of the DHCP server address range.
