Need assistance on understanding static IP's

I have my network lets say "192.168.0.0" what I am trying to do and what I thought I was doing in the earlier version was have my server hand out the same static IP addresses to the same computers and of course the non standard ones would just get an IP from the DHCP pool.
Can someone help me with this please?

    Hi,

    You can reserve addresses in the UTM's DHCP server, but they must be outside the pool range.

    The terminology in the UTM for this recently changed, but it is there.

    Once again thanks for your reply.

    I am sorry but I would love to know how to do so. I think?? I have been all around this with no luck.
    Or at least give me a hint on where to look for it. I have even done SNAT and DNAT to no avail.

    You can click on the 'Static Mappings' tab & button under Network Services->DHCP...

    In 9.2, that will take to you Network Definitions.
    Click New Network Definition

    Change type to HOST

    Expand the DHCP settings, set the DHCP server and the MAC address for a host.

    Fill in the NAME and IP Address fields. Make sure the IP address is in your LAN but outside your DHCP address pool.

    Well BarryG I must say Thank you once again. I was all over the settings one by one I would try then I would simply restore the settings. The one thing I NEVER did was to add the DHCP server simply because in my eyes it would not have any bearing on what I wanted to do. Well I was wrong sir. All is working fine.
