SMS Gateway

Hi,

Version 9.206-35 added SMS gateway in the logging section, anybody knowing was Sophos has planned for? :-D

No idea...[:)]... but several posts were already exchanged in the forum regarding this topic:

Maybe a 3G interface is required for this feature...?

I've just updated a client's UTM with 3G modem in it as a Standby Uplink interface, and there is the option for SMS authentication in Hotspot type (scrshot).

In 9.280 the SMS Gateway Log was removed again. Does anybody know why?

Thanks. Hmm, due my Printscreen Documentation of my Beta Testing, I can verify in 9.260 that SMS-Auth was not chooseable as a Hotspot Type. In 9.280 I can choose that option again. Strange strange [:)]
