UTM licence changes from older version

Hi,

I last used the Astaro UTM software a few years ago (version 6, before it became Sophos) and ran a wonderful warm, protected domestic environment quite well, until the hardware the UTM was sat on decided to fail.

This caused a bit of an upheaval in the FreudianSlip household, and everyone went back to using the internet in a 'raw' mode.  

Long story short, I decided to build another UTM device from some HP microservers the company I work for was disposing of, so came back here to get the latest and greatest software to load up.

After struggling like *hell* to get a USB boot version to work (these microservers dont have a CD drive) I submitted and bought a USB CD drive, burned a CD ISO and away I went.

The software loaded fine without issue (from CD ..grr) but I was a little disappointed to discover that all the 'nice' features I was used to in the older versions had been disabled.  Things like web content management, auto updates and such like.

I made sure I had a brand spanking new domestic user licence but still all the 'gold' features were disabled.  I even tried applying my old license to no avail.

Have I missed something (I have searched the forum but the search function isnt brilliant...) somewhere - are the newer versions really functionally crippled?  They used to be restricted to a certain number of IP's but all the functional guts were present.

I hope I've done something silly, like installed a restricted license, as opposed to spending £30 on a USB CD burner for nothing :/

    Register yourself on https://myutm.sophos.com/ and create a Home license (scrshot).

    t is limited to 50 IP addresses and you can't do customizations but all the features will be available.

    This is where it gets odd..

    I'm already registered on there (must have been migrated during the astaro->sophos changeover?) and when I login, I get a few icons at the bottom of the page, one being 'Create A New License'. 

    If I click this, I then get to choose my contact set (again, details already exist, so I select the default contact set).  Once here, I then get 2 options, 1 being to enter a license key (which I dont have) or the other being : create a UTM SW Essentials Firewall license.  I'm guessing I must have selected the 2nd option in order to get a valid license before, hence the reason most things are disabled.  I dont see an option for a home user.

    If I choose to view my licenses instead of creating a new one, I can see my 'Home' license from V7 (thought it was V6.. memory fails) which has all the components expired, and a 'Full' license that I created the other day, but this has the components 'inactive'.

    I've attached a screenshot that I see when I go to create a new license.

    Am I missing something more, or is my account in a weird state..?

    Now I see where I went wrong.. I already had a home user license, and had to delete it completely, before re-creating.

    Theres no option to 'extend', however the details are on the license web page - at the bottom.. I just didnt read all the way down. D'oh.
