UTM Feature Requests

UTM Feature Requests is how users are supposed to make requests for features and enhancements to UTM, but appears that Sophos does not keep the status of user requests up to date, resulting in there being many requests that seem to stagnate, despite in some cases there being hundreds or even thousands of votes. Also, there are numerous instances where the status refers to a feature being planned for a "future release" that is now in the past. It would be nice if Sophos would update the status and also provide more insight on the roadmap (planned features and release dates) so we have more visibility of where UTM is going. If Sophos does not intend to do anything with a feature request, the votes should be returned, or alternatively, users should receive new votes periodically. I think that would help the UTM Feature Requests to be more dynamic.

    Once or twice a year, I get points back when a suggestion I had voted for has been adopted or rejected.  I agree that the top 20 voted suggestions deserve a dated comment from Sophos at least annually.  Also, I see some of them that might already be at least partially completed, so I suspect that there isn't a process in place that causes the review of the top 100 voted ideas whenever there's a major Up2Date (e.g., 9.1 to 9.2).

    It's interesting that some of the very top ones were ideas that Gert floated in 2009, before Astaro was open to a Sophos acquisition.
