Unable to log into Web Admin

I went to log into my Sophos box today, and it will not recognize any of the users I have on the system, whether they are locally authenticated or AD authenticated.  The loginuser account works for SSH access, and I can reset the system passwords through the shell, but it still won't let me log in.  I've reset the box, as well as both of my DCs in case there was a problem there.  I really loathe the idea of rebuilding the box since I have had quite a few changes since the last backup I took.  This happened once before and cleared itself up, so I chalked it up to a quirk, but this time it is persistent.  Has anyone else experienced this?

    I'm not seeing any such complaints elsewhere.  Try some basic things.  Close all browser windows, open one and clear the local cache.  From the command line, run ifconfig on the interface through which you've been accessing.  If this is your own hardware, run non-destructive hard drive diagnostics on it.  Etc.

    If you've had no luck with that, show us what you've done to reset the admin password.  If you want to re-image on a new piece of hardware, you might consider The Zeroeth Rule in Rulz after taking teched's advice to do a backup from the command line.
