Full Re-Image (SSI) on ASG 220 Rev.4 SSD

Hi all,
I'm planning to Full Re-Image my ASG220 Rev.4 Home User licence upgraded to 4GB RAM to the new 9.2.x release (actually on 9.1x).
During the operation I want to swap the original HDD with a Samsung Evo Pro 256GB SSD.

I already read a lot about the hardware detection problem, so I have to go back to 1 GB of RAM before installing the 9.2 SSI Image and the put it back to 4GB.
But, what about the SSD in place of the Original HDD? Does the installer check the HDD too?

    I bet this won't work unless you happen to find an SSD that uses the same driver as on the new SGs.  There still are other things needed for the ssi to agree to install.  I thought that a home license wouldn't work on an appliance, but if you confirm that it does, that's good news.

    Hi Bob, the home license works on appliances (anyway, until 9.1 personally tested), you just have to login as root after install and remove the line 'DEVICE_ID' from the /etc/asg file.
    LCD keeps working and ethx are not messed up.

    I think I'll keep the original HDD, swapping it is too much work for quiet nothing more.
