Netflixs and 9.201-23

Every since upgrading to 9.201-23 Netflix's has been unstable.  Quality fluctuates standard definition to high definition.  Connections even drop making me restart the stream.  I had no issues before the upgrade easily getting Super HD definition all the time.  I have made no changes to the configuration  and bypass content scanning for streaming content. I see nothing logged in the IPS, Firewall or web filter logs.  Has some default configuration been changed in 9.201-23?  Anybody else experiencing this?

    So I'd like to clear the Sophos UTM from the issues that I've been seeing with Netflix, Web Browsing on iOS Devices, etc. It seems that the issue has been ESXi all along. [:@]

    I have been running ESXi 5.5 Build 1331820 (9/22/2013). I finally decided it was time to apply some patches and coincidentally they released an ISO for Update 2 Build 2068190 (9/9/2014). This release also included drivers for the i210 Intel NIC Chipset so it wasn't necessarily to utilize an ESXi Customizer to streamline those drivers. 

    I haven't had a single interrupt since the upgrade. Everything is running incredibly. I'm a very happy camper. I hope this information assists and encourages anyone running ESXi 5.5 to bring their Server to Update 2. [:D]

    Seems like you two are both correct, albeit, I will say that since the 9.202-33 update, it has happened less frequently.

    Hopefully the bug report is reopened.


    I opened another one and I've been told it is headed to escalation.  I also listed at least 10 threads on here(at their request) about this bug as a demonstration that I actually do know what i am talking about and that i'm not making things up when i tell them this is becoming a widespread problem.  One day they'll not doubt me in the beginning..[:)]
