Partial Backup Restoration

I migrated hardware awhile ago. Unfortunately, the new hardware is significantly different than the old and is part of a network change, and so restoring the full backup is not an option. (I attempted, and was unable to access the device afterwards)

Is there a way to restore a partial backup of certain features? Alternatively, is there a way to view the config present in the backup so I can review it and add it back?

While much of the interfaces and other settings have changed, I had put a lot of work into tuning our Firewall rules and Webfilter settings to match my environment and devices, and it would be a lot of work to redo most of those.

    The issue with restoring the backup might just be that the NIC order is different on the new hardware. Did you try all the interfaces when you loaded the backup to see if webadmin was accessible on any of them? You can manually change the NIC order, see this thread for instructions https://www.astaro.org/gateway-products/general-discussion/39237-astaro-useful-shell-commands.html

    Partial backup is not possible. There is an option to print out the config, in webadmin Go to Support > Printable Configuration.
