9.200 - memory leak

Goldy, I rebooted a few days back but am starting to climb again.  I even had the web filtering/av scanner turned off.  Switched engine to Avira today but SWAP still seems to be climbing.

for everyone running Linux(which means sophos)..don't reboot unless you are seeing performance issues.  It doesn't do anything but cover up the issue..if you can leave it presenting so support can look at it...that helps tremendously.

We have to restart the UTM 220 nearly every week to get it running again. We use nearly all options, but with the previous versions this worked well. I will try using another antivirus enginge.

I have also swap increasing on my home UTM.
4GB Ram, 2PC, 2 Handy, 1 Synology-NAS,
All Functions on except of RED, WIFI, HA, 

 




The webfiltering is not very speed since the Update.

Turn endpoint protection on..you don't have to configure it..just turn it on.  This switches you from the cff to the new sophos cloud servers.  I wonder if this will help with speeds.

As mentioned before .
The Dev team are aware of this issue and are working to fix it.
There is a case that was opened by Goldy ( and dome others too ).
The fix is in the oven waiting to be cooked.
It's not a normal behavior , it's known , and the great team of Sophos will solve it like they always does.
Let's give them the time they need.

It looks that the swap issue is now solved.
It was caused by the SAVI and it was replaced by a new pattern up2date.
Swap and memory looks great now and randoms restarts of the proxy are gone also.
Hope it's the end of this issue.

While I am not sure if fixed swap, I will say that I can use Web Filtering w/ Sophos AV again.  For the past few days, it was un-bearable and I had to turn off AV, or run Avira.  Seems like that might be back to normal.
