9.200 - memory leak

I'm not seeing this in the three systems i've upgraded....do you have the cff mods disabled?

did you upgrade using the 9.2GA soft release or re-build the UTM from an ISO?
I have 3 all running 9.2, built using the ISO and one from the up2date process. The two built using the ISO have very little swap after 20 days, the one done using the up2date method, swap is slowly growing about 1% a day.
My utms are not as heavily utilised as yours.

I have two active users at the moment on each UTM. One does have about 30 active IP addresses though.
You run about 30 or so times more users than I do, which probably ex[plains your swap growth.
Is there any way you can try a fresh build from the ISO? The new version has better swap management which is probably the cause for swap growth on the upgraded utms geting a little confused.

Hi Ian,

My understanding is that re-installing from the ISO may allocate more disk space for SWAP, but that isn't going to solve a severe memory leak.

you are correct, but the graph Goldy provided shows a swap issue, not memory from my reading of the graph.

we are online with UTM 9.200 in production on VM (4xCPU, 8GB RAM) which was rebuild with ISO, since Saturday and we don't have any problems until now.

Almost everything is active with approx. 500 users.

i've upgraded three machines and they actually use less ram now..so it will be interesting to see what this issue is

I'm on 9.200-11 - Uptime:  18d, and no memory leak here.  Not running SMTP/POP proxy, Network Visibility, Site-to-Site VPN, RED, UTM Mgr, Wed App Firewall, HA Cluster or Anti-spam.
