Hi everybody
First thing I have to say is, I'm pretty new to firewalls. Now I have to change our old Fortinet firewall to a new Sophos UTM 320. On the Fortinet 3 public IP addresses are configured on one external interface:
1st IP: for SSL VPN (port 10433) and everything outgoing
2nd IP: Exchange publishing (port 443)
3rd IP: incoming Email from a spam/virus filter service (port 25)
Now my first question is, is this also possible with the Sophos UTM? I guess this isn't possible or I just didn't find the right spot to configure this.
My second question is (in case multiple IP's on one interface isn't possible), what are the possiblilities? As far as I see it, one is to use three physical interfaces with three different IP's. But is this really necessary? I mean we use three different ports, then one public IP is enough right? I could use port 443 for exchange publishing, 1443 for SSL VPN and 2443 for the user portal? Incoming email is port 25 anyway, so this shouldn't be a problem.
Many thanks for the help.
Fabian
