expired license

Hi sophos/astaro experts,

just for clarification what will happened if my existing license will expire?
my own understanding is that if my current subscriptions expired then web,av,ips and anti spam will be no longer effective. still my unit will do translation and firewalling. is this correct?

I have lots of customer if their licensed expired even translation and firewalling is not working anymore.

pls rectify if im wrong on this manner.

    It depends on the age of the firmware.  if it is v7 or below it might not work.  anything recent should work fine..keep in mind the sophos product isn't like a router which allows all outgoing by default..sophos is a deny all by default so if all the proxies expire and thee's no firewall allowances setup to allow non-proxied traffic nothing will get by...which for enterprise security is how it should be.
