setup non-Sophos AP for wireless

Hi,

I am new to Sophos UTM (coming from using Sonicwall's for my home network). I built a Shuttle DS61 v1.1 with UTM 9 Home. I currently have an airport extreme for my home wireless. If I install a micro wifi card in my shuttle, will I be able to utilize the wireless and eliminate the need of the airport?

If the answer is yes, will I be able to section off the wireless clients into a separate subnet (unless connected via VPN)?

not sure why, but I can't close this. I found a bunch of threads indicating you cannot use an onboard wifi. So my question will be amended to -

how can I best secure wireless clients that are not connected via VPN? Can I segregate all non-VPN clients coming from my Airport Extreme on a separate subnet?

Hi, you can put the airport on a separate interface on the firewall, or on a VLAN.

Thank Barry. I just picked up a netgear gs105e which has vlan support so I will give this a shot over the weekend.
