VM machine

Hi All, looking for a bit of advice, I'm running home version on an old computer.
I'd like to buy a new machine running some form of VM ware, so the firewall and current computer can co-exist on the same machine.

What's the best solution one NIC card or three, I'm assuming 3 and I'm assuming the home version will run just the same on a VM machine

Thanks for the quick reply, it's only a home network on DSL line of around about 10mbs mostly used by the kids with about 10gb of traffic a day

So nothing fancy
