Active Directory

If I link the users on the router to active directory will they be able to change there passwords in the user portal and if so will that change be made in active directory.

i've done it the other way..change the password in AD and it feeds back(as long as you setup synchronizations inside of UTM) i've not tested from the utm back to AD.

An AD user is defined as "remotely authenticated" meaning that a remote system does the authentication.

It looks to me like this type user is not offered the change password option and cannot therefore change their password through the User Portal

confirmed...I just set it up to authenticate my ad users and you lose the change password option
