Features UTM 9.2

Sophos / Astaro does not usually release the roadmap before the beta version, but follows a list of some resources that we hope will be available in the new version of UTM.
Including resources for me were limiting for hiring new customers.

Networking: Site to Site GRE Tunnel Support

Routing: OSPF routing inside GRE tunnels.

Web Security: Transparent Proxy with Transparent Authentication (SSO)

Reporting: Web Reports for Users by Time Period (Chronological)

Logging: Enhanced log searching tools (Better search & filter)

Logging: Detailed Admin Logging of Config Changes

Web Security: Time-Based Application Control Rules

Application Control: Apply rules to Active Directory Users/Groups

Reporting: Extend Application Control reporting

A better log and report to Anti Virus and IPS WEB are desirable.

I'd like to see improved IGMP proxy support.

Right now there is an IGMP proxy through the PIM-SM facility but it is useless for IPTV in a lot of places because the provider's won't publish their upstream RP routers. What I'd like to see is the same type of support as I can get on a $50 linksys router w/ 3rd party firmware. Those you just turn it on and it acts as a proxy for any device behind it.

DMVPN and GRE Tunnel would also be a very interesting feature to UTM 9.2.

In my opinion, the following feature is essential for astaro to become more market competitive:

Web Security: Transparent Proxy with Transparent Authentication (SSO)

Just after that:

Application Control: Apply rules to Active Directory Users/Groups
