Static Route

Ok I know this can be done, I just haven't figured it out. I have a VPN and it's routing is working great from the Astaro box. I need to route my internal network through the wan to the modem. The modem IP is 192.168.100.1, my internal network is 172.16.8.x . I have tried to route this and have been unsuccessful. I added the static route using the gateway option and it would never resolve. Any suggestions?

    Is there a IP in 192.168.100.0 NET on the external Astaro Interface in modem direction?

    Normally ther is a default route, and you have to setup a backu route in your modem, if you like to manage it.

    I used to be able to do this with no rule in version 7 and 8. Right now it is not setup with any ip on the Wan side other than ISP IP. So basically I need to add subnet ip to wan side and route?

    Hi, dtruesdale, and welcome to the User BB!

    It's hard to tell exactly what your problem is. In V9, for pings arriving on the external interface, you must create a separate firewall rule.

    The other comment I would make is that you should bridge your external router so that you can put a public IP on the UTM.
