ASG 9.1 Domainjoin Server 2012

I have problems joining MS Server 2012 Domain.

Authentications-Server ist running. From UTM i can ping the domain (domain.local)

But joining domain is failing. I put in 

-> domain.local
-> administrator
-> *Password*

I've tried another domainadmin with simple password like 1Housewife, but failing too. I cant find the right logfile to debug.

Can you assist me ? [;)]

    Just found the mistake.

    I wondered why computerobjekt is created in ad but domainjoin failed.

    So i took a look at systemname of UTM. I've changed it from utm.domain.de to utm.domain.local and domainjoin is successfull ! [:D][:P]

    This shouldn't be necessary - the name of the UTM should be resolvable in public DNS.

    Actually, I've always found it necessary to use the correct internal FQDN as the hostname of the UTM to join the domain.

    Bruce, I've set up AD-SSO in three places over the last several months. Server 2000, 2003 and 2008R2.  I haven't tried it where the internal domain is company.com and the public domain is domain.com.  I think it should work fine with domain.local and a hostname of mail.domain.com as long as the AD server can resolve mail.domain.com to the IP of "Internal (Address)".
