HELP! UTM 9.1 no access

I updated to utm 9.1 from cd on my machine.  I restored the settings from a config backup.  Everything worked fine, no issues.  After a reboot I can't access web admin and the proxy is failing. 

My hardware is a dell OptiPlex 3010 with an intel 4 port nic.  1 interface connected to cable modem, 2 interfaces without vlan assignment and 1 interface configured with 3 vlans.  I have console access but I'm not sure how to resolve the issue through the console with the loginuser.

    I am using 9.100-16 on a software load.

    Problems:
    1. No outbound traffic when both uplinks enabled in uplink sharing. Disable one, all good.
    2. Following up2date based install, SSH passwords not working and WebAdmin/UserPortal not responding - but can still NAT to servers behind firewall.  Hard reboot, fixes both issues.
    3. Mail proxy treating all email as unsscanable due to encrypted content.  Switched off quarantine on unscannable.

    This has got me a working but not debugged firewall.

    I installed 9.1008 and all the interfaces are okay.  I ran the /sbin/ifconfig and all interfaces are correct.  I recorded the In fact my SNAT rules are working because I can access my OWA from my work.  This happens after every reboot.  I reinstall to get it to work but the reboot will fail to start.  All hosts can ping the UTM and the UTM can ping all hosts.

    It is working for now.

    Please describe your hardware and your internet line speed.

    After e restart the UTM takes some time to update the DNS and other tables and seems not to be responsive to the webadmin during this phase of a restart.

    My hardware is a dell OptiPlex 3010 with an intel 4 port gigabit nic. 1 interface connected to cable modem(50 mbps), 2 interfaces without vlan assignment and 1 interface configured with 3 vlans.  Total of 5 interfaces, one isn't being used.

    Are you running the local proxy database in memory or disk?

    Hello everyone ,

    I am using Astaro ( Sophos ) since 1999 , I don't use to write here a lot.
    Since the 9.1 has been released from its first soft release I found few major bugs and I was in touch daily with Sophos dev to correct them , and I wrote few post to inform everyone about.
    Those bugs were fixed and very fast new Up2dates have been released .

    To RFCat_vk:
    I don't know if I'm running it on disk or in memory.  I didn't make changes to the way the utm stored the proxy database, It just worked.  

    To gilipeled:
    I too have used Astaro(Sophos) since v5 and never had issues until now.  I'm afraid to reboot.  So I will try to update and reboot this weekend.  Before I update I will backup the config with the current version and see if the restore works better, if another failure occurs.

    Well, didn't figure out why it doesn't work but I did find a solution.  For some reason the internal(LAN) network interface failed to come up.  On the interfaces page the eth0 state is down and the link is up.  I deleted the eth0 interface and this fixed the issue.  Unfortunately, I have a lot of rules attached to this interface and will have to recreate them manually.  
    Anyone have an idea why the interface wouldn't come up?

    I would appreciate any suggestions so in the future I could fix the issue without deleting an interface.

    Is there a log that could enlighten me as to why the state is down?

    Your best bet is probably the kernel log.
