Bit Torrent sync / firewall rules

okay im at my witts end here I thought i understood how the firewall works but i guess im not getting something


example from the log

the rule i setup was

Internal (network)→ BT Sync* → any

*BT Sync  UDP 1:65535 → 42816

Its dropping all the packets 

any pointers?

    In your DNAT, the 1st Destination field is set to External/WAN ADDRESS, right (not NETWORK or BROADCAST)?

    Thanks for the reply. The configuration of the DNAT rule is in my post on the previous page, which as you point out is using the external wan address. I assume you're saying that's incorrect. I changed the rule to use the external wan network. However, I'm not clear what the distinction is and why it's incorrect to use address instead of network. If using address is incorrect, is there a reason why utm accepts an address for that field?
