I can't remember what the old v8 did but this seems wrong


so in "logging & reporting" -> "networking usage"

if i switch between daily/weekly/yearly  the 


in daily i see a max bandwith spike of 31mbps
if i change the scale to weekly the highest spike is 6.11
if i switch to montly 6.11
if i go to yearly i see 1.39mbps

shouldnt the max still be 31mbps?

secondary bug the graph shows 6.11 for examples shows up below the "6" bar out on the graph

    Hi, As far as I know, daily graphs is more precise compare with weekly/ monthly graphs. It shall get samples every minute (not sure for Astaro). Then, for the weekly graphs this might represent samples gathered every 5mins.

    This might be the reason why you couldn't see the 31Mb in the other graphs.

    that might be right the summary at the bottom shows 33.22 as the max but still seems like a bug

    I would say that's all correct.

    The graphs are showing the average values only (no min/max).

    On a daily graph a single point in the graph is the average of 5 minutes for example. But on a weekly graph it may is the average of 1 hour, and on a yearly graph of a day. An average during a longer period of time can never be as high as during a short time (except you always have the exact same traffic 24/7). That's how averages work.

    As they were saying it is averages and I believe Astaro/Sophos still uses the default mrtg/rrdtool timings

    Daily = 5 minute average
    Weekly = 30 minute average
    Monthly = 2 hour average
    Yearly = 1 day average
