utm 9 firewall rules for torrent

Sorry I've been playing with this for a day or so with no success.

does anyone know what the configurations should be for a firewall rule that allows torrenting

I'm trying to get a Ubuntu distro

    Hi, there's lots of posts in these forums about BT.

    If you're just downloading, and not worried too much about upload performance, then you just need a service definition and a packetfilter rule for the outgoing connections.

    Take a look at the packetfilter log or your Torrent client to see what ports it's using.

    Also check the IPS log, as it is sometimes known to block torrents.
