[INFO-149] Application Control daemon not running - restarted

I've been getting this alert a lot lately.  15 times in the last 2 weeks.  It started right before I upgraded to 8.307 became available via Up2Date and has persisted even after the upgrade/reboot.

I'm not even sure where to look to start troubleshooting why that daemon stops running.  Any suggestions?

I should mention this is the ASG Software running on my own box.

    Have had the same issue for about the same time frame. I am on version 8.306. Here is an entry from the app log file - it is always dst port 25.

    2012:12:06-18:40:38 ASTAROFW afcd[28760]: Dec 06, 2012; 18:40:38 - : protocol = 6, src ip = 124.65.143.173, src port = 36684, dst ip = XX.***.***.XX, dst port = 25
