Log in does not work

I was fiddling with the L2TP over IPSec settings to connect to my network from my Android.

Suddenly, my log in information isn't accepted for WebAdmin.

I have no idea how those two things are related, but for some reason admin and my password are invalid.

I would rather not have to re install. Does anyone have any ideas? Because that would be reeeeaallly great!

    I got it to work by following this procedure:

    Shutdown the firewall an connect a screen and keyboard, or in my case open the VMWare client console 

    Recycle the power to the unit and wait for the GRUB-loader screen and press the "ESC" key 

    Select the "Astaro Security Gateway x.x" version, NOT the previous or rescue option! 

    Press the "e" key to edit that entry 

    Move down to the second line, then press "e" to edit the line 

    At the end of the line enter init=/bin/bash, no quotes 

    Press the "Enter" key, then press the "b" key to boot the device/VM 

    You can now change the root and loginuser account passwords by typing "passwd root" or "passwd loginuser" 

    Restart the device and allow it to boot normally. 

    When the system finishes booting, login as the root user 

    To reset the Webadmin admin password, type "cc", no quotes, and press Enter 

    Type RAW and press enter 

    Type system_password_reset and press enter 

    Browse to your WebAdmin login page (i.e. https://192.168.0.1:4444) and you should be prompted to create a new password for the admin account.
