Delete Backup

How to delete old backup files, even those generated automatically by ACC/SUM4. Is there any way to do this automatically or without having to delete one by one?

I currently use version 9 and still have backups of older versions that are not of my interest.

    If I do that, backups are duplicated by ACC/SUM4 and Appliance. Is there any way to delete all the old once only?

    That would be a good feature to be implemented in future versions, since the space used backup, is not counted by the logs ... a simple checkbox to select all and then a delete button would solve the problem.

    Actually, number of backups on some of my systems seems to exceed the number set to keep.

    Deleted a bunch, will check if it grows again.

    This setting, at least as far as I can tell, only applies to the daily, weekly, or monthly generated auto-backups; backups generated automatically during the up2date process, for instance, don't seem to be counted towards the total retained; hence you can have quite a list of backups in there...
