Hi,
we are currently using 2x ASG220 v7.512 as HA failover under the old classic license. They both have 1GB RAM. As our company continue to grow, we are seeing an increased RAM and CPU usage, averaging over 55%, with peaks of 90%+ on CPU several times a day. This could be down to our many site to sites (12+) running over OpenVPN. Our branch offices typically consist of only 4 to 5 people, with only internal traffic tunneled through. We only use Network Security & Remote Access features.
We asked the Astaro support about our sluggish performance and they said there are too many site to sites and that we should upgrade our hardware or run the 220s as cluster. Our license runs until end of November so it's a perfect time to upgrade, only we are not sure to which ASG model, or even build our own (is this cheaper?).
Which of the options would you suggest? Cluster? Build our own? UTM320? UTM425?
