A v9 backup is unlikely to work in v8.

However, you can use the 'Printable Configuration' system in WebAdmin to print out your settings, and re-create them in v8.

what is the readon for a downgrade?
I ve done it too last weekend because of strange problems with Cisco Vpn and Ha.
