Today, my internet started to give me serious hickups. In a timespan of 0-2 minutes, the internet is going down for >30 seconds, and then it comes up again.
Phone calls are getting disconnected, streams stop working. It is nearly impossible to work with this. The problem is inside the UTM, because if I plug a machine directly after the modem, the internet is remarkable stable.
I don't know if this issue is DNS-related, If I try to reach an IP-Address, it times out (waiting for...), and I get an Sophos network unreachable error.
I am using UTM9 on rig that contains a dual-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 4 Intel GBit NIC's.
What can be the cause?
Edit: Got it. Turned out to be a fracture in the UTP cable between the modem and the firewall. I have never seen this before...
