Issues install UTM 9 on xenserver

Hello,

Each one of my UTM 9 installations on Xenserver 5.6 and 6.0 fail to start properly after reboot.

I see that in 9.001 bugfixes that "[20442] Amazon VPC broken in V9" was addressed. I am wondering if this is a fix to the issues I am experiencing. If so, how do I apply the patch since a 9.001 ISO is not available?

Do they start up enough to allow command line access?  If so, then you can do the following via SSH or at the console:
As root at the command line
   cd /var/up2date/sys
   wget ftp.astaro.de/.../u2d-sys-9.001018.tgz.gpg
To do the install,
   auisys.plx --rpmargs --force

Any luck?

Xen or citrix xen?

The VM does not seem to boot completely since its unresponsive and only shows the 'UTM 9' splash screen and pings/ssh are unreponsive.

I am using Citrix Xenserver.

Which template are you using?
I had asimilar problem with a debian squeeze on Citriox xen 5.2. No chance to install until I selected the template "other".

a tip:
If possible use Vmware-ESX5i. The linux-support is better.

Is it possible to test citrix xen 6.02?
I ve problems with 5.5 and a debian system. snapshoting causes a crash of the guest.
A quick 6.02 Testserver seems to work fine for my special problem.
