some basic questions about sophos live connect and software firewall

hello everyone 

i have 3 question 

i just installed new  astaro gateway 9 and upgrade my home license

please anyone tell ........ do i need a software firewall with astaro endpoint as well because i didnt see firewall option on software side 

2nd i restore my setttings from 8.305 but now i made screenshot/write all my settings and start with factory setting again and set again.

now do i need to reinstall spohos endipoint as well on software client side as well or same will work. 

3rd question how to set sophos live connect i used to use norton DNS in which what i do is disable DNS to out in firewall setting  ....... set astaro as DNS(dhcp on) and add norton DNS in forwarder setting instead of my ISP 

now i cannot able to set sophos live connect in forwarder setting please what i am doing wrong

    If you use the Mac where you are not protected by a firewall, you may want to enable its firewall.

    I bet you do since I think a certificate is used and that it will have changed with the new install.  Please let us know if it works anyway.

    You shouldn't have to change anything in Sophos DNS.  What problem are you seeing that you tried that?

    i reinstall with new key now i am getting BSOD and momery dump error i check ram with linux cd memory test they pass test wondering what causing it on windows very strange 

    anyways the problem i was facing was no webcontent filter and hips working on software side
