Unblocking Webmail like Gmail and Hotmail

Have any idea on how to unblock webmail on astaro..... ive tried the 
^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*live.com/ and
^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*google.com/ 

in the exceptions and in the URL filtering. Am i doing this wrong?

    Webmail is not blocked by default.  I would check your application control settings. I am guessing that you have port 80 and 443 outbound open.

    Check application control:
    Web Security/Application Control/Application Control rules/

    Make sure you are not blocking your email in there.
