How to set up Astaro High Availability in a VMware vCloud

Hi. I have most of my Astaro VM's in a VMWare cloud environment controlled by vCloud Director. I can create whatever networks I need and add NICs and stuff to the VM's. However the manual says something about using an Ethernet crossover cable to connect the "spare" NICs together. How can I do this in a cloud? Has there been any thought at all as to how this will work using the software appliance that is not physically in your hands?

And regarding the installation and configuration.. should I build the 2nd one using a restore of the configuration from the 1st one?  And if I make any changes on the 1st one, will the system automatically replicate those changes to the 2nd one, or is this going to be a manually repeat your steps step?

    The VM environments should be identical in terms of types and number of NICs, etc.  "Cable" the Slave, Configure the Master in Hot-Standby (or Cluster) and load the Slave from ISO.  The Master should take over from there with no manual configuration of the Slave required.
