uTorrent Remote with ASG 8

Hello,

I'm trying to get uTorrent Remote v3.1.3 working with Astaro Security Gateway 8.301.  All it does is saying connecting.  I have opened some ports by watching TCPView, still nothing.

Evey thing else is figured out in terms of port forwarding, I can't figure this one out.  Love to remotely add torrents and come home and they finished.

Anybody have any insight?

    Please always state your exact version as terminology changes as well as options.

    Are you seeing any related blocks in the Firewall log or the Intrusion Prevention log?

    I got it figured out.

    I created an DMZ firewall rule (all 65,535 ports open) and uTorrent Remote was able to connect fine.

    Ended up opening the port rage 9000:9999.  This appeared to work.  Every computer / each time seemed to use a different port number.  Yes, I have random ports turned off in uTorrent.  Apparently, uTorrent Remote uses Amazon web storage/services to connect.  I never did find any documentation info about ports, just plugging away and killing an saturday afternoon. [:)]

    Ahhh yes, uTorrent Remote on my iPhone 4S.  This is not the older "Web UI", and its nice to see that it connects securely.

    Hi, you only need to DNAT 1 port (the port set in uTorrent).

    It's working fine for me.
