Monitoring all traffic

Hello everyone.  Really new to Astaro and I'm not sure how to set it up to do this.  Basically for now we only want to monitor how much bandwidth is being used and by what machines.  What type of traffic would also be handy but not a necessity.  Would this be considered the full transparent mode?

    It sounds like you just want to bridge two interfaces, allow all traffic and then consult the 'Bandwidth Usage' tab in 'Network Usage', but there's really not enough description of your environment to understand if that's a good solution.

    Is this a commercial license?  If so, then your reseller would be a good place to start.  It costs half as much to have them do the initial configuration compared to having them redesign and re-install later.

    If this is in your home, what WAN connection do you have and what do you presently have connecting it with your network?

    Thanks for the response.  We're actually look at this for work and are just using the 30 day trial at the moment to see if it will report what we need.

    I did find the bridge network setting and we have that up and running.  Took me a few minutes to figure out that I need to get a firewall rule in there so it would pass traffic.  But that is now working just fine.

    Our problem now is it seems to not count SMB traffic.  We copied a 4 gig file across to a machine on the other side of Astaro but under logging/network usage it never shows the file copy.  It only shows TCP/UDP traffic (web surfing, FTP and such).  Can Astaro log all traffic no matter what protocol it is?
