Proxy PAC file and firefox

Hi all

It seems that in the latest versions of firefox(v 8.01,9.01),users need to enable the following setting under "about:config " so that firefox will work with PAC file (wpad.dat)

network.dns.disableIPv6 should be set to true (default value is false)

Not sure whether this is firefox related but just a heads up! (more info if you google it [:)] )

I've disabled ipv6 from my ASG and I still have to have the relevant option set as true in order to work

Hi,

I use DHCPv6 from ASG to configure my Clients.
They pick the wpad from http://:8080/wpad.dat.

Everything works very well. (Firefox 9.01)

Do you have both ipv4/6 versions enabled on your adapter? Are they both set to "obtain address automatically?"

I need to enable this setting to all users using firefox 9.01 and wpad ...strange.
