Facebook issues with Astaro

Since upgrading to 8.200, It seems my clients have a lot of problems with Facebook.
Going in to facebook, and browsing around works fine, but any other actions, like uploading photos, see Messages, browsing in photos album, activate Youtube movies and so on get stack (not always, and not all my users, but allot of them.

It seems something just doesn't work well between Astaro and Facebook, and I really hope someone from Astaro will pay attention to this.

Today I have made a DNS group to all Facebook I could find in the log:
1. pixel.facebook.com
2. glb1.facebook.com
3. fbcdn.net
4. a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net
5. 0-333.channel.facebook.com
6. facebook.com
7. sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net
8. a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net
9. static.ak.fbcdn.net
10. glb2.facebook.com
All together – 137 IPs!!! 

I put those DNS groups in one group call "Facebook", and put it in the Exceptions of Intrusion Prevention.
I have also put all those DNS in the Web Filtering – exceptions.

Hopefully it will help; however, it's only workaround.
I don't see this behavior in any other website.

    Ok that setting does more to screw up IE than many others.  Have folks turn that auto detect proxy crud.  Since FB uses many many ips and domains and then with the onslaught of third party links IE will do an autodiscovery for EVERY DOMAIN the fb pages ask for..and that takes time.  Try turning that setting off.

    Since there were no problems in Ver 8.103 and this issue appears only after 8.2xx and since I'm working like this for several years, I doubt it's the reason for FB strange behavior.
    Never the less (and since I've nothing to lose [:)]), I've tried it.
    Didn't help in FB, and I couldn't see any different in any other surfing behavior.

    Hi All.
    It seem we found the solution.
    Astaro team refers to Application control that they say seems to cause similar problems.
    Well, we have tried to turn it off, but that didn't make any different.
    A friend of mine suggest (after allot of experiments) to turn ON the AV engine which was off, and guess what?  It seems (at least for now) to fix the problem in face book, and in another very important site, which also has sever issues.
    I think there is a kind of bug in the "Web Security".

    Interesting.  You mean that NOT having AV activated caused your issue?  I'm confused then, because Post #26 indicates that you had AV activated before.  I have to admit that I always activate AV.

    I have confirmed this issue with a friend of mine.
    It seems it's a bug in Astaro.
    We have reported it and they check it now (hopefully fix it).
    Unfortunately, activate the AV make Yuotube and some other sites, inaccessible to IPade and Iphone.
    It's a known bug for quite a while.

    actually i ahve a/v on and my ipad and iphone folks work jsut fine through it.  There is a regex for it as well as apple update that should have been added when you upgraded to 8.2x:
