Help required - Clerkenwell London.

Any Astaro users here near Clerkenwell in London?

We have a new office and a new internet connection and the IT staff do not seem to be able to get us up and running.

We need to get the ADSL modem into Bridge mode and get Astaro connecting through the modem.

Please reply here if you are interested in this work.

I have tried talking them through it without luck.

    If the problem is getting an ISP provided ADSL router into bridge mode your best bet is to take the problem over to forums.thinkbroadband.com

    Prefer not to have to resort to Q+A in forums...

    I'm in Australia, the problem is in London and the guys in the office have no clue.  Relaying instructions back n forth from forums wont be ideal.

    The problem is though, getting a TD-W8960N into Bridge mode on a PPPoA connection (BT).  Pretty sure the Astaro side is fine.

    Yeah, I would prefer to be in Australia in the springtime than London in late autumn!  Sunshine vs. rain?  Hmmm, tough decision.

    Simon, you may want to consider contacting an Astaro partner in that area for a short term contract.  Locate a Partner.

    Hah, actually raining here a lot lately, unseasonal late rains.

    In any case, I have  contacted an Astaro Gold Partner in London and hope they can come to the party.  I am at the early stages of hiring a permanent IT person for our London office so hopefully won't be in this situation again.

    Trying to talk non network people through bridging modems and configuring Astaro over the phone just isnt working.
