MAC Address

In Astaro 8.201 where can I setup unlimited user access to a specific MAC Address? What I am attempting to do is create a virtual box with unrestricted bandwidth/monitoring so I can download whatever I want.

    You can't define based on MAC address.  You would want to set access by IP Address or DNS resolvable FQDN.

    So on the Virtual box(Ubuntu Guest) I would have to define a static IP and then where would I define that static IP to have unrestricted internet?

    The first step is to create a host definition object in Astaro for the Ubuntu VM.  WebAdmin>>Definitions & Users>>Network Definitions.  Click on the "New network definition" button, choose host as the type, and fill in the information.  Now you can plug this definition into any area within Astaro WebAdmin that accepts host type objects, such as firewall rules, proxy exceptions, etc.

    As far as giving unfettered web access for this system goes, how you set this up is entirely dependent on how you currently have things setup and whether or not you are using the Astaro Web Proxy (if using, then what mode is it using?).
