Old Hardware ASG 120 (Bios Update)

Dear Board,

can anyone help a hobby hardware hacker out? I have an old ASG 120 Model ( Releas was 6 ) - Model No. EBS1563P-RLP6-ASG-110/120

I use it as private Firewall ( and some Services ) System with Debian Lenny on it ( it was marked for trash, so i grabbed it ). My Problem is, i upgraded memory from 256 to 512 but the bios only detects 256....I believe its an bios issue about the very old bios ( 2004 ). I cant find out the mainboard issuer nor the manufacturer, etc. where i could search for a bios update. does anyone know which mainboard was used or the better knows for a bios update or know the trick to realize the full 512mb? thanks very much!

    There was two old asg120 types. Mfr is Nexcom, and the board is ebc583 (or something like that). There's no newer Bios, I also searched for it. But the board is capable to host 512MB Ram on the 667MHz cpu board, and 1GB on the 800MHz board. If you choose the right memory ,it will recognize the 512 MB ;o) Should be PC-133 without ECC and unbuffered memory if I remember right.
