Wildcard ssl certificates support

Hello, 
I would know if the wildcard ssl certificates are fully supported by astaro. In particular I need to know if I can use them for:


  • WebAdmin
  • UserPoral
  • Quarantine
  • HTTPS Scanning for Web Proxy
  • SSL VPN
  • WAF (in this case I have read in beta forum of v8.0 that there are some issues... but in v8.2?!)

    For WebAdmin, UserPortal & WAF I can confirm it works - I have not yet tried the rest.

    For HTTPS Scanning (HTTPS-Proxy) I think what you like to do won't work: Never display any cert-warning at the clients if they're not yet trusting the Proxy-CA. Even if you buy a cert signed by a well-known root CA, you won't be able to generate new certs with this (which is exactly what the HTTPS-Proxy does).
